They've got a thing against nu metal.  Their early stuff sounds just like Sepultura's Roots.

That shouldn't matter.  They say that Devildriver's first album was "mallcore" but that band got accepted once they make a "true" metal album.  Soulfly's been "true metal" for at least 7 years now, so I don't get why it took so long for them to be added.  Double standard probably, although I would expect nothing less from those people.

I think they're bit too elitis and exclusivist, too, and I particularly don't like how they refer to all the stuff they won't include as "garbage". Stillc when it comes to the genres/artists they do include, MA certainly is a great database. I must say that I prefer the inclusivist ideology of SoM and MMA, though.
