^It's been awhile since I've listened to that album, although I listen to and love Crush a lot.

Random Clutch songs.

Now: I Have the Body of John Wilkes Booth

Was that Toast To The Extras? Love that song, along with Crush and Inside Out. Inside Out has a brilliant video, based on a classic Twilight Zone episode. (Sound quality not great, but you get the idea)

Earlier:

Doesn't seem to be a very highly regarded annihilator album looking at the RYM averages, though on first impression I enjoyed this a little more than the previous one.

Now:

I just picked this one up on CD off of ebay. The first two albums have put me on something of a thrash kick, but their following records overall I'm finding rather bland so far.

it's great, it's the only one I've heard from them, one of the best albums I've heard this year, definitely. It's a shame they called it quits (or so I've read on PA)
I'm gonna try and explore them more.

BLACK SHEEP WALL - Im Going To Kill Myself cover
http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/black-sheep-wall/im-going-to-kill-myself
Wow all the caustic aggression and screaming hardcore vocals on this release kinda contradicts the fluffly cover artwork (which is pretty great though :-)).

Overkill - Horrorscope (The name's in there, but tough to read.)

Not actually one of my favorites I've heard by them, but it does have some awesome tracks, and it's very good overall. I honestly haven't heard anything I from them so far that I didn't like, and they don't seem to have any really widely criticized albums, which is impressive for a band with such a big discography.

Good to see your quest continuing. Horrorscope was the first Overkill album with two guitarists. I honestly thought they were doomed after losing Bobby Gustafson, because he was such an impressive guitarist. I love Horrorscope. Coma, New Machine, Live Young, Die Free, the cover of Frankenstein, and one of the greatest double track closings to an album ever in Nice Day...For A Funeral and Soulitude.

To my ears Overkill's weakest album is "I Hear Black", but even that is pretty damn good. There is also Coverkill, which being a covers album is not to everyone's taste. I like it though.

Only song I wasn't too fond of Horrorscope was the title track, oddly enough. Nice Day... For a Funeral is probably the best, though.

And yeah, I had planned on not including Coverkill, since I probably wouldn't even know most of the original songs, and it probably wouldn't do anything for me. We'll see, though.
