It's their first album I've fully enjoyed in quite a long time. I would have liked the last one if it was only one disc: I find their style starts to get boring after around 50 minutes, so by around the mid point of the last album, I had pretty much tuned it out. This one is similarly stylistically, but much shorter, so I liked it the whole way through.

I was sure a double CD would get boring too, but I actually think they made the album varied enough to never get tedious. I haven´t enjoyed/or followed Soilwork since their Fifth album, so the last one was really a wakeup call for me, that I need to check out a few of their last releases which I haven´t given a chance yet. I´ll be looking forward to listening to "The Ride Majestic".

Listening to something I haven't heard in a LONG time. Forgot just how good 'Lighting Strikes' is.

^ A valid comparison, I think.
First listen. I've been liking this band a lot so far, especially the debut and Blessing in Disguise. Strangely The Dark (their highest rated here) didn't grab me so much on first listen, except for the song Ton of Bricks.

^I've only heard the first two, the debut being my favorite. I should check out the rest of their stuff.

I have the first three Metal Church albums. All very good stuff. The debut is my favourite.
