It´s a great album. I saw them on the tour supporting it and they blew me away. They are one of those acts that are even better live than on studio releases (although their studio releases are great too of course). A very talented bunch, and their frontman is an entertainer.

Lucky bugger.  A lot of the Metal elitists just write these guys off as a second rate band, I personally rate them very highly.  They are yet to disappoint me with an album release.
Be excellent to each other.

I can recommend Blast Tyrant and Earth Rocker, but Clutch is generally pretty consistent. I really enjoy their music (and they are a great live band too, if you ever get the chance to see them), but I have a slight issue with most of their releases, as I always feel like there are a couple of filler tracks and only a few really standout tracks on each. The rest is quality material, but doesn´t stand out enough.

I'll have to check those out. I think they're touring with Mastodon right now, I'd love to see that if they come somewhat nearby where I am.

This morning finished the marathon that is -

DREAM THEATER - Score: 20th Anniversary World Tour cover

A great take on the live album format if you've not heard it (which I'm sure everyone has Wink).

Then a bit of prog deathcore -

BORN OF OSIRIS - A Higher Place cover

And just started a bit of djenty deathcore -

DOOMED FROM DAY ONE - Nine Fingers cover

Some sweet vibes to go to sleep by Big smile

I actually haven't heard any Dream Theater live albums, perhaps I should remedy that. Tongue

I have some live DVD's of Dream Theater but no live albums. I've neither seen nor heard Score. Been on my to buy list for years but since I don't listen to DT too much these days it always seems to be getting pushed further and further down on the list of priorities.

Score is probably their best live album/DVD I've seen, though I haven't been keeping up with their more recent ones, or any live albums in general. I also liked Live at Budokan a lot.
