I´m actually not that fond of female vocals. They seldom resonate with me.

It´s funny how people always seem to be either surprised or offended by this, but if people for example don´t enjoy growling vocals, the reaction is seldom the same. It´s somehow considered understandable, but if you don´t enjoy female vocals, it´s considered odd LOL.
 
...and for the record I do enjoy some female vocalists.

I used to be a big Death fan right from the debut up until Symbolic (I actually saw Death on the Symbolic tour), but this one has always annoyed me endlessly. First of all it´s too focused on technical playing and semi-progressive song structures instead of cathiness and hooks like their older material and secondly I can´t stand how they have processed Chuck´s vocals. They are completely over the top. He doesn´t even sound human anymore. It was a bit disappointment then, and I still haven´t grown fond of it all these years later.
