They changed their style quite a lot for the first four albums though. Especially "Soulless" and "Hating Life" are very different from the rest of their discography. Kind of extreme groove metal or something like that...   ...the thing is probably that I think there are so many other Swedish acts from those days that deserve more recognition and attention than Grave. Acts like Necrophobic, Sorcery, Gorement and God Macabre are all recommendable.

You may be right because I haven't listened to any of those bands before! Thanks for the recommendations!

I�ve now given their first EP and their first two full-length studio albums many spins and I�m completely sold. Dark and depressive rock/metal delivered with great skill and a with a Unique songwriting approach that most of the time doesn�t follow your regular vers/chorus format, but on the contrary challenges that format.
