Regarding Augury I just listened to the Beyond Creation album that you reviewed a while back Adam and it�s pretty fantastic to say the least. Highly recommendable to fans of Augury.

...oh and guys if you enjoy Augury and Beyond Creation I would most definitely check out Vale of Pnath. Their debut is a really great technical/progressive death metal album:

I listened to Beyond Creation once and didn't think much of it, but that's gotta be an album that needs careful listening, so I'll definitely look into it again.

Scratch what I said about Augury having a different drummer between the first two albums, I just read the small print in Fragmentary Evidence's booklet. They had the same line-up with the exception of the female singer for recording if not the actual release.
I'm definitely going to check out Vale of Pnath by the way.  Anyway this is just why I'm hyped for Forest to be back in Augury. Edited by adg211288 - 27 May 2012 at 8:55am |

I�ve been a fan of Kreator for nearly 25 years but never got around to seing them live. I�ve seen Morbid Angel twice. Both some to the greatest death metal shows I�ve seen yet. I�m really looking forward to seing Nile too.

I voted for Dying Fetus because they're more diverse, and Destroy the
Opposition is my favorite death metal album of all time. Plus, they
didn't release Blood Oath.

Over on my forums the new Nile album has met a very negative reception. Who's heard it here and what's your thoughts on it?
I think it's a step down from their past efforts, especially vocally, but still really good instrumentally.
