I´m listening to this one at the moment. It´s a decent thrash metal release, but not the most unique sounding. A little Exodus, a little Megadeth, a little Anthrax...yeah all the regular influences: ![]() http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/gothic-slam/just-a-face-in-the-crowd

Now that we talked about Merciless I´m also listening to their second album (actually have been for a couple of years), warming up to writing a review. I love death/thrash like this. Raw, relentlessly aggressive, and uncompromising. I have a lot of favorites in that genre like Demolition Hammer, Sadus, early Invocator...and several others. Fast intense and brutal music....yeah I love it. ![]() http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/merciless/the-treasures-within

Been in a thrash mood lately. I even seem to be picking up an appreciation for Slayer. Sodom is another band I've been digging lately. There are a number of other acts on my radar to eexplore but am looking for recs.

One of my favorite thrash metal artists is Demolition Hammer. The first Malevolent Creation album is also a great thrash infused death metal album. I tend to favor the more brutal end of the thrash metal spectrum, but there are a lot of great thrash metal artists from all ends of the spectrum to discover. I´m sure you already know the first two Annihilator albums and albums from the big four. If you haven´t yet I can recommed checking out both Testament, Overkill, and Exodus too. All of them close to the big four in quality. Heathen and Forbidden should be checked out. Artillery Believer Kreator Sodom Early Sepultura (up until Arise) Coroner Celtic Frost Voivod Dark Angel Dead Head Invocator Exhorder (the first album) Death Angel Dekapitator Flotsam and Jetsam Forced Entry Whiplash Gammacide Hatesphere The Haunted Holy Moses Incubus - Beyond the Unknown LååZ Rockit I think you may enjoy the third Merciless album Metal Church really isn´t pure thrash, but they´ve many many great albums with the occasional wiff of thrash. Nevermore is a favorite of mine Nuclear Assault Nukem (I really like their debut) Paradox Sacred Reich Solstice Suicidal Tendencies Toxik Realm Revenant Vektor Vio-Lence Witchery (hmm blackened heavy, speed, thrash) Wrathchild America

^ I just checked out Epidemic of Violence this week actually.
I know quite a number on your list - quite a few also checked out recently - but there are some names there that are completely new to me.
