Four tracks in and every song so far has had the same djentish riffs at the start. It sounds great aside from that, though. The songs are excellent once they get going, but they all have basically the same intro so far. Weird........... 

Update: 5 songs now, and literally almost the exact same intro on every one. What the hell is going on?

My first listen ended up being a total disaster (it just got more and more samey as it went on), so hopefully this goes better with lowered expectations, because otherwise, my first promo for 2019 is a MASSIVE disappointment.

It's not bad, just kinda boring. I don't know, after their last one had more varied songwriting than their previous couple, I was expecting this one to be an even bigger step forward, and instead it just feels incredibly samey. 

Second listen went about the same as the first, except it was less disappointing, because I wasn't expecting as much from it this time.
