Just realised that I haven't heard any 2017 death metal releases yet. I do have a promo of the new Ex Deo that looks quite interesting though. I did review their last one fairly highly, though I've never gone back to it in five years. I think I've been a bit too obsessed with black metal the last few months to really pay much attention to what's coming out in death metal.

I should check out more Immolation at some point, I've only heard their debut which I thought was pretty good. (Although I don't remember much of it tbh)
The new Sinister album is great, and I've been really enjoying their first two albums, especially the second one. Also recently wrote a review of one of my all time favorites, Arch Enemy's Doomsday Machine: I really don't understand the lukewarm reception this album gets, I've always loved it.
