It´s a great album. I saw them on the tour supporting it and they blew me away. They are one of those acts that are even better live than on studio releases (although their studio releases are great too of course). A very talented bunch, and their frontman is an entertainer.
Lucky bugger. A lot of the Metal elitists just write these guys off as a second rate band, I personally rate them very highly. They are yet to disappoint me with an album release.
Can't say I rate them. I just find that style of death metal very irritating.
Listening to this cassette, personally don't understand why people say the remastered version messed it up. Both sound essentially like the same masterpiece to me.

I couldn't hear any difference at all. My thoughts on it were "typical Megadeth. Get ya to pay something for nothing." I didn't bother with any more of the remixes after this one. But then, I don't like most of the albums after this one.

I like quite a few of their albums after this one, but what's your opinion on Endgame? I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like it, when I listened to it I was bored to deth.

United Abominations, Endgame and thir13teen all seem to run one into the other for me. There are a few standout tracks, but I'm buggered if I could tell one from the other without seeing what was playing. And then Supercollider was total bollocks.

Just listened to it. The song itself seems great on first listen, but the video itself is the star so far. Seriously the most I've enjoyed a music video in quite a while. Awesome stuff!

^Just rated. Based on that song, my expectations for the new album have only grown.
It just leaked, so I gave it a listen before going to bed. Seems solid as always, though probably not as good as Ten Thousand Fists, which remains my favorite by them.
