The band Corpus Christi just released their 2nd album on Victory Records this week titled A Feast for Crows. Apparently, they are a Christian metal thrash band from Cincinnati, Ohio. Here is a link to their MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/corpuschristiad . Unfortunately, I am not really sure where to find samples of their music, as there doesn't appear to be any on their MySpace page.

Both Spirit of Metal: http://www.spirit-of-metal.com/groupe-groupe-Corpus_Christi-l-en.html and Metal Archives: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=100309 label them Metalcore, so Ive added them to Metalcore.
I found this video which seems to further prove the metalcore label: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/corpus-christi--video.aspx?id=3005
Another time Scott youre welcome to add the bands you like to the database yourself without asking the teams first ( Your SC status gives you access to do that). Just make a note in the team thread that youve added an artists in their sub. Its only if you feel something is controversial that you need to bring it up before adding the artist. MMA is thankfully not like PA where we sometimes have to wait months before an act is cleared.
http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/corpus-christi.aspx, The last album will be added by the musicbrainz update when Phil runs it. Edited by UMUR - 08 Jul 2010 at 2:54pm |

Thanks!!! How does the musicbrainz update work? When I add a new album do I have to do anything specific so that musicbrainz can update it?

When you add a new artist to the database and give them a musicbrainz tag you dont need to add albums. It might take a day or two but Phil ( Graphix) run an update from musicbrainz and that update automaticallty adds albums. The updates are badly flawed, with missing albums, cover artwork and so forth, but its still an advantage that you dont have to add everything from the bottom. Theres an explanation in the SC zone that explains how to add new artists to the database: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=200
Its very much recommended that you provide new artists with a musicbrainz ID is possible, because then well be warned about new releases from that artists here: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/artists-new-release.aspx ( well thats if musicbrainz is updated which it isnt always)
