Listening to Cancer Bats right now(music in general, really) and just scouring the internet. May fire up a Steam game shortly(1001 Spikes to be specific...very sadistic game!).

i have a quick question. i did a lesson and got to the end. the lesson is slide notes basics. at the end of some lessons there is a practice track with the technique you just learned, and it adds notes the better you get at it. I am having trouble looking at what is on screen and my guitar at the same time, so i have been trying to play the riff while just looking at the screen. my question is once i get better at playing will i get good at playing without looking at the guitar or should I try to learn to look at the notes on screen and quickly look at the guitar and back and fourth?
