Bronz are a NWoBHM band formed in Bath, England in 1976. They are still making music well into the 21st century.
After a tie up with Dave Panton as manager (from Nomis rehearsal complex) in 1980, the band played many support slots at the Marquee and Music Machine with Angelwitch, More, Diamond Head, Anvil (!) and many others.
The bands members have included Simon Thomas (bass), Windsor McGilvray (drums), Chris Goulstone (guitars, keyboards, vocals), Paul Webb (bass, vocals), Max Bacon (vocals), Shaun Kirkpatrick (guitar, vocals), John Kirkpatrick (bass, vocals), Steve Hopgood (drums), Carl Matthews (drums).
After a brief re-formation of the early 80’s line up for a Sanctuary Records release in 2003 (Bronz Live – Getting Higher)*, Chris has brought back original bassist Simon Thomas and fantastic newcomer Windsor McGilvray, on drums.
