This used to be a tough one to find as only 5,000 numbered copies were originally released of their 4 night stand at the Hammersmith Odeon in London England from December 31st 1981 to January 3rd 1982. The music here is taken from 3 of those 4 nights and the cd is packed with almost 80 minutes of music. Thankfully when they re-issued "Mob Rules" they included this as a bonus disc. Vinnie Appice joined the band part way through the "Heaven And Hell" tour when Ward's parents passed away plus he was battling alcoholism. Appice and Dio became close friends and when Dio left SABBATH after this tour Appice joined him and the resulting album would be the classic "Holy Diver". Anyway most of the songs here i like the most are the ones that Dio did originally. My favourite is "Children Of The Sea" although the over 14 minute version of "Heaven And Hell" is amazing too. Without question this is a must-have for SABBATH fans and the sound quality is about as perfect as you can get.
