STONEHENGE are a Hungarian progressive metal band, formed in 1992. Their classic lineup dates from 1998 with Balázs BÓTA (guitars), Zoltán 'BZ' BÁTKY (vocals), Kristóf SZABÓ (drums), Bertalan TEMESI (bass) and Ádám BAKI (keyboards). Their debut album 'Angelo Salutante' has been a highly acclaimed release with top reviews in many international magazines and webzines. They have played many successful concerts in Hungary and abroad. The last concert of their first era was at the ProgPower Europe festival in 2002.
Later singer BZ quit because of musical differences.
Stonehenge released an EP called 'Nerine' with three songs sung by a different singer, although the songs were originally written by the band and BZ. Right after this release, Stonehenge disappeared without a trace...
