Sevenskies is a metalcore band from Cairns in Queensland, formed in 2009.

Sevenskies originally formed in 2009 in the tropical paradise of Cairns/FNQ. Bringing a fresh sound to the local music scene, they quickly made a name for themselves and spent the next year playing alongside many notable bands such as The Amity Affliction , Confession, Thy Art Is Murder, Signal The Firing Squad, House Vs Hurricane and more! In early 2010 saw the release of their first EP 'Nobodies' recorded at Freefall Studios in Sydney. The band relocated to Brisbane in late 2010. 2012 has brought a fresh start for the band along with a crushing new follow up EP titled 'Sleepers'.
