Seraphique- official biography
The independent, self-produced and -released "Chrysalis" is Seraphique's triumphal entry into the extensive universe of music. It has astonished the public and critics confronted with it and harvested enthusiasm, defense, respect and imitation. Seraphique will destroy prejudice and liberate the public from mediocrity and baseness.
Plain facts. Founded in 1998, released debut EP "Nehalennia" in February 2000, same year Seraphique finishes second place in Aardschok's Metalbash, afterwards a tour through The Netherlands, switch of bass-players, 2002: contribution of two roughly recorded songs to the "Anno nu"- compilation album. Winter 2002-03 is spent on recording-sessions. In 2004 the band released the first full-length album "Chrysalis".
Seraphique deserved their reputation and earned the respect of the audience, fellow-musicians and the press throughout their gigs, Aardschok's Power Pack tour 2000-01, festivals and club-shows, supporting, for example, DeadHead, God Dethroned, The Wounded, Severe Torture, Within Temptation, Autumn, Asrai, etcetera.
