Stephen Sweden never cease to amaze me with overflowing talented bands coming out of that country, Debbie Ray is one of them and proudly deserved to stand on the top tier of Swedish glam racks. The raging rhythm, aggressive tones, and dirty harsh scream are their signatures, playing sleaze metal with some modern nuance, derived from the 80s glam gods such as Guns N' Roses, L.A.Guns, or Tora Tora.

Singer/guitarist Reine is the main attraction, with a furious scream, shot right out of hell's lung, he blazes forward unstoppable on superior tracks such as "Addicted", "Dirty Darling", or "Primetime Primadonna". Lead guitarist Andy also grabbed my attention with his ultrafast picking and some inspiring shred throughout the songs, most notable in songs like "Stars Ain't Much of A Light" and "Road Dog Souls". Both tracks also have melodic element that's very accessible to casual rock fans.

"Someone To Blame" is another monster track to love, "Kill Your Darlings" shown a very Slash-y guitar fill, and "Stand N Fight" has massive chorus and superb arrangement. The title track is one of the decent tracks here and the other one is "Bullshit Firezone" which unfortunately is the worst they made. But overall, I really like this raw and wild glam they performed, imagine how GNR meets Hardcore Superstar and you'll get a nifty picture of their style. The production is excellent and balance, no instrument is overshadowing the other, everything was in its own place configured perfectly. A highly addictive sleaze metal to enjoy, kudos to Reine and the gang for the brilliant album!
