BROKEN RESISTANCE picture
Broken Resistance is a German metalcore band from Schwalmstadt in Hesse, formed in 2009.

Formed by guitarist Sven Gürtler, drummer Tobias Gonther and the guitarist Dennis Schultheis, Broken Resistance originally played covers by bands such as Metallica, Lamb of God and Caliban. Bassist Tim Knüwe was the next to join, followed in 2012 by vocalist Niklas Müller. A new drummer, Noah Theiss, joined in 2017.

The band's influences include Parkway Drive, The Ghost Inside, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, A Day To Remember, Architects, Heaven Shall Burn, Lamb Of God and Killswitch Engage.
