Black Dust is a gothic metal band formed in 1993 in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. Members of the bands, incuding Guillaume Dallery (vocals, guitar keyboard), Céline Malfoy (vocals), and Julien Sauvage (guitar, backing vocals, keyboard) have been in bands such as Belenos, Amphitryon and Fjällstorm, respectively.
The band's story according to their website:
"Black Dust is a French band, from Pas-de-Calais, North of France. The band was originally constituted by three brothers : Guillaume (Lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Olivier (Bass guitar, classical guitar) and Sébastien Dallery (drums, percussions). Gary Delacre, a guitar player and Xavier Delépine, on keyboards, soon joined the band. The band then played its own trash and recorded its first demo (tape) in 1995 : Astral Hypnosis. "My lost faith..." our new darker album was released in 1996. This album was entirely produced by our own means and female vocals can be heard in this medieval influenced album. Then, in 1998,
