ALWAID picture
Alwaid is a melodic metal band from Lille, France. It was founded in 2010 by Marie, Robin and Max, who wanted to form a band both melodic and with a touch of heavy metal. They named it after a star that evokes a nocturnal and oniric world. Soon the band's line-up was completed by Jack on bass and Damien on keyboards. Within a few months, the first songs were written and the band played its first gigs in local bars. After some comings and goings, the band's first demo was released in the course of the summer 2012. After a number of shows in 2013, the band's first album is currently being produced and should be out by March 2014.
