In 1997, the band called Ansata was formed with the idea of playing covers of the bands that have influenced its members. After several shows and being very well accepted by the public, they have decided to compose their own songs. Since the beginning of the band, it has suffered many line-up changes and, because of that, the composition and recording process has become disrupted. But in 2002 they released their first song called Above Them All as part of a compilation album called Rock Soldiers Vol.7, which was distributed in Brazil and Germany. In 2004, they decided to stop for an indefinite period of time, but they’ve kept on playing together in another projects and only in 2008, they returned with Ansata to finally record its debut album.
