AMON is an American death metal act formed in 1987. The band released two demos before they changed their name to DEICIDE in 1989.
However when the Hoffman brothers Eric and Brian ( both guitar) were kicked out of DEICIDE they decided to resurrect AMON and started using the name in 2007. The brothers brought in vocalist/ bassist Jesse Jolly and drummer Mike Petrak to complete the lineup. A debut album, which is to be called "Liar In Wait" is in the making and set for an early 2011 release.
