The word "aluna" is from the Kogi people of Colombia and Peru. It is to describe both the trance state of mind and the spirit worlds and has no direct translation in modern English. Similarly the word holos (track 7 of the Deep Blue Sea album) is the Latin word meaning whole or all encompassing. The nature of a hologram is that every fragment contains the whole image. Transpersonal psychology and consciousness research have shown that there are states of being in which every aspect of the universe is experientially reachable.
