UMUR "Results" is the debut full-length studio album by US grindcore/death metal act Murder Construct. The album was released through Relapse Records in August 2012. The band released the "Murder Construct" EP in 2010 and apparently it´s now time for a full-length release.

"Results" may be catalogued as a full-length release, but it´s a pretty short album with it´s 29:10 minutes of playing time. It´s not unusual for a grindcore release though. The band play grindcore with death metal elements. The latter mentioned style is especially heard in the vocal department. There are higher pitched raw vocals in the music too though. Most tracks are pretty short deathgrinding tracks but album closer "Resultados" stands out with it´s 6:36 minutes long playing time and it´s rather unconventional structure and atmospheric sections.

While the musicianship and the songwriting are on a good level, I think there is a minor issue with the sound production. I have no problem with the fact that it´s raw like hell, but I miss details, because it´s somewhat messy/noisy and not especially nice on the ears. As a result I´m not enjoying "Results" as much as I had hoped for after the promising debut EP, but it´s still a pretty strong release and a 3 star (60%) rating is warranted.
