WOW!This is a true prog power metal pearl ,that kind of album that when you make an audition of it,you get the same thrill and emotions like the first time!I really believe that this first album of this so talented German band was a superbe album that didn't get the right and deserved recognition because a weak promotion and ,maybee a too uninspired policy of the record label, which was focused on pure metal bands at the time-the bankrupted GUN RECORDS !The vocalist-OLAF BILIC and the bass player MARTIN HIRSCH are former members of JESTER'S MARCH-the German answer to Savatage -another excellent forgotten German band in power metal-in my opinion-and on this album they get a strong help from UWE BALTRUSCH-the guitar player of MEKONG DELTA-the German techno thrashers and the drummer extraordinaire-JORG MICHAEL!The album has a strong QUEENSRYCHE influence -THE WARNING period-and the high quality of the compositions is outstanding-they are putting in evidence the special voice of BILIC-he's stunning!Great music-powerful midtempo songs and a sensational production for a timeless valuable album of power metal with strong prog influences! The music is quite technique too,not too demonstrative-but catchy enough to bring the interest and curiosity of prog power metal lovers a t a high degree!4.5 STARS for a forgotten musical pearl!
