Agora is a progressive metal band from Mexico. The band began in July, 1996; they base its resonance on premises that others seem to have forgotten: ideas with no boundaries, unleashing Metal’s strength, and setting free great melodies that face unprecedented virtuosity.
Having recorded three albums, Segundo Pasado (2001), Zona de Silencio (2005) –recognized by the Mexican Edition of Rolling Stone as one of the top 10 best Latin American rock music albums in 2005– and Silencio Acústico (2008) –acoustic project that was recorded live and in the studio, with new versions of their material and talking the opportunity of adding a new track named Cambio de Aura–, Agora has surpassed the expectations of Cd sales and attendance to their shows within the context of Mexican indie music.
