Self described at "the most evil band in Japan" Abigail formed in January 1992 by Yasuyuki(Bass/Vocal),Youhei(Drums) and Yasunori(Guitar). They were influenced by early black/thrash metal bands like BATHORY, VENOM, SODOM, BULLDOZER, HELLHAMMER, NME etc.
Since their first demo in 1992 Abigail's output has been phenomenal. They have appeared on more than 50 EPs, splits, LPs, and compilations.
Their 'Alive... In" series of live albums, influenced by BULLDOZER's 'Alive... In Poland', is legendary.
Abigail's latest in the the 'Alive... In' series is 2010's 'Alive... In Tokyo Part 2' released on The Northern Cold Productions.
