Their first 2 albums are alternative metal, here's evidence Their newer stuff definitely isn't metal although it could be put into the hard rock category.

Thanks for the suggestion. I never really heard early Incubus songs (actually I probably did but forgot them) until a few months ago. I mainly knew of the band from their Make Yourself/Morning View era, which definitely isn't metal. | My daughter was a huge Incubus fan and the early stuff was surprisingly difficult almost experimental to my ears back then. I may not feel like that now because this was before i was into the strange shit i listen to now(haha). |
