Here's a bunch of suggestions from the heyday of 90s death and black metal - they're all Diehard/Progress artists:

Exhumation (Greece) [death metal]
Aurora Borealis (USA) [black metal]
Daemon (USA) [death metal]
Opressor (USA - I think) [death metal]
Point of View Secondhand (Denmark) [gothic metal]
Cyborg (Denmark) [death metal]
Blood of Christs (Canada) [black metal]
Necrosphere (Italy) [black metal]
Sarcophagus (USA) [black & death metal]
Infernal Torment (Denmark) [death metal]
Ironlung (USA) [doom metal]
Captor (Sweden) [death metal]

Ill check these when I get a little time. Thats a lot of work, so bear with me.

Since we talking Danish ( or related to Danish labels) acts how about Sacrificial for thrash metal. Do you remember them?

I think I remember the name. Are they on any of the F--- You, We're From Denmark compilations? Man, there were so many bands back in the 90s... it's hard to keep track of them. :-)

Maybe they were on one of those samplers. I cant remember, but Im currently trying to add them.

Ive added all acts you suggested ( albums will be added later on). Oppressor seemed to be here already though. I placed Captor in thrash metal instead of Death metal. They seem to have drifted more towards that genre in time. Do you know if their first album was a pure death metal release?

I havent done anything about Point of View Secondhand. Maybe you should create a seperate thread for that one with the word Goth metal team in the headline?

Oh and I couldnt find an American Daemon, so I added the Danish/ Swedish one instead.

I think it's the same Daemon - the american element was Gene Hoglan, but he left the band after the first (or second?) release.

^yep its the same then. Gene Hoglan was part of the band at some point. Ive never heard the albums.

If Time Sig creates a seperate thread for Point of View Secondhand, this thread is ready to be locked.
