As long as people show respect for each other, they can disagree or agree as much as they like in the comments. Calling other members idiots because they dont share your opinion is not acceptable, so theres a balance between critic comments and disrespectful ones that needs to be understood and followed by all members.

...personally I hope the comments on reviews is something that will be used more extensively in the future. Theres nothing better for a reviewer than to be made aware that someone has actually read your review and has an opinion about it. Its great motivation.

^ I agree, I think that's a great thing about the reviews(ers) here, there's a some nice discussion going on in a fair few of the albums I've looked at. I like it

I totally agree, it's extremely rare for me to get comments, but when I do I almost shit my pants out of joy.

Well, I say the most insulting thing you can say to a reviewer is tell them their opinion is wrong, then tell them to give it another listen and write a new review with a different rating.

This. Correcting factual errors and giving constructive criticism of the review itself (in terms of whether or not it's well-written) is okay, but claiming another person's opinion is wrong is entirely missing the point of what a review is supposed to do.
