  • ARTIST SEARCH : autocomplete as MMA
  • FREE TEXT QUERY: on enter or submit
On both PA and MMA

I HATE the searches on PA, they are so slow and always do stupid things like put a review for an album above the album page itself.  I like what we've got going on here.

I agree. The search mechanism at PA seems to work well in my opinion, it's very easy to use and search for something specific like a phrase in a review if needed. Though something similar to last.fm would be cool where you can search for anything and suggestions for artists, albums, and songs pop up in a menu below.
Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

As probably all of you know, the only way to search the site is by artist, which can be quite annoying when you are looking for an album, user, or other little things on the site. Would it be possible to choose what you are searching for? I like the function where you just click on an artist from the search bar, but could you replicate that for albums, users, mp3, etc?
