I watched The Dark Knight Rises.  I really enjoyed it.  Wasn't expecting it to be as good as the preceding film, but it lives up to it and Batman Begins.

Borat (2006)

I thought this movie was pretty funny, and actually quite remarkable since most of it was unscripted. Not a fantastic film by any stretch, but a unique and worthwhile comedy without doubt. Thumbs Up

watched A History of Violence last night.  It was ok.  I don't really like Viggo Mortensen

Saw the movie on Friday. The visuals were fantastic, and I liked the basic premise of the film, but after a third of the way in, the plot and the characters just started being completely idiotic.

I just watched The Usual Suspects for the second time ever.  Obviously liked it enough to watch twice. Wink

I watched this film earlier today:

Dead Presidents (1995)

It's another movie by the Hughes Brothers (the directors of Menace II Society), and this was another excellent crime drama. It was an amazing portrayal of what serving in a war can lead some people to do - it was another gritty, honest, and very mature film. This one is a masterpiece IMO.

I recently watched both of the Harold & Kumar movies... nothing spectacular, but they were a lot of fun! LOL

I also watched this two nights ago:

Menace II Society (1993)

This is probably the best 'hood film' I've ever seen. A really accurate and frightening depiction of ghetto life in the early nineties'. The ending was also spectacular! Definitely worth watching for those who enjoy good, gritty dramas (and are okay with a fuck-ton of profanity!!!!).

It's a hard bag, because the films are there to download but to grab english subtitles for them is difficult. Maybe this one works:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373981/

Do you believe that Kontroll is the ONLY film of Nimrd Antal that was never released in Brazil? Too bad...

Lynx, do you know the film below? It's a fantastic hungarian animation: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1084680/

No, I don't know this one. Seems promising. As for Kontroll, I'm sure that it can be downloaded from the net, and subtitles for it too. Check it out if you like.
