Does Antonio Banderas actually act in this movie?
Or just go through the motions of acting?

It is amazing how eclectic (and consistently excellent) his films are. One of my favorite (if not my absolute favorite) directors. |

I recently finished all of Stanley Kubrick's films and watched the documentary Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures, which was excellent.
His films that I'd give 9 or 10 out of 10 are Paths of Glory, Spartacus, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Dr. Strangelove, and 2001 A Space Odyssey (his best IMHO), with Barry Lyndon, Full Metal Jacket, and Eyes Wide Shut following close behind. The only ones I didn't think were that great were Lolita, Killer's Kiss, and The Killing. It's amazing that such a wide range of brilliant films, some complete opposites of others, could all come from one guy.

Continuing with my Cagney trend, I watched "Each Dawn I Die" last night. I'm glad I chose that over watching the Leafs game .

Pretty great movie, which is based on the memoirs of Ian Curtis wife Deborah. Sad and depressive stuff.

Oh God that ear scene. Fucking brilliant. I can't listen to Stuck In The Middle without being reminded of this movie.

Shrink - a good movie starring Kevin Spacey; Robin Williams has a supporting, small role.
