Saw this some years ago on VHS, but didn't recall a thing about it. Not classic Carpenter that's for sure. It's okay.

This was very weirdly done for a biopic.

^Oldboy (the original) is a fucked up and really great movie. A agree that Lady Vengeance isn´t quite as brilliant, but it´s still a great movie and a study in eerie unpleasantries. Mr. Vengeance is definitely worth tracking Down too.

This is the second time I've watched this and the second time I've felt that although it was his breakthrough film it's actually far below the standard of Scorsese's other work.

This was no Oldboy, but it was a very good film as well. Still need to track down Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, the first film of the Revenge Trilogy.

Classic Smile. I should re-watch it someday.

I can see this being one of those films that I watch many times.

No. I read a few King novels some years ago, but mostly the original seven Dark Tower ones and a few of his early ones.

Controversial 70's British film. Brutal as it is, it's actually a remake of a banned TV play that was apparently even more extreme.

Gerda Lie Kaas in Vildheks (2018)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5668822/

Danish language kids adventure movie. I haven´t read the books, but I found the movie a bit long and predictable. The kids said it was alright but nothing too special. I think it was filmed in Norway, because those beautiful landscapes certainly aren´t found anywhere in Denmark.

I was expecting a movie about Facebook to be my least favourite David Fincher film. Turns out it's actually pretty good, though apparently filled with inaccuracies.

Yeah I always found it really boring. The only scene which is pretty eerie is one of the last ones in the basement of the house.

I even found the ending really underwhelming. They spent a lot of time trying to build tension with the noises at night, the strange stuff hanging in the woods et cetera, but what really killed it for me is that in the end they never even see the supposed Blair Witch.

I find the format of found footage really hit and miss in general. In fact so far there's only been three I've seen that I quite liked: Grave Encounters, Willow Creek and Troll Hunter. They're usually shit.

Good David Fincher movie. Just got The Social Network to watch and I'll have seen all ten of his films.

A man going through a breakup falls in love with his new Ai operating system. My head tells me it shouldn't make a compelling movie, but somehow it does.
