A pretty awful movie this one. Especially the pseudo religious ending. I mean...what is it about? Aliens are actually God and heaven is a secret planet somewhere? Shocked

It´s too bad really because the Whole mystery opening to the film is pretty exciting. The acting is pretty stiff throughout the movie though, and the CGI effects during the plane crash are pretty amaturish. I can´t recommend spending time with this one.

Watched Mario Bava's Black Sabbath which is considered a bit of an Italian Horror classic and I tend to agree after seeing it.

One line from Boris Karloff made me titter when he said "Can't I fondle my own Grandson?" Not sure they'd leave a line like that in these days...lol.

I still have that to watch. Series is better than I thought, and J Law is hotter than I thought.

Yeah she is quite charming and pretty gifted too. I enjoyed the first film a lot, and to a lesser extent number 2 and 3, but I found this one pretty entertaining. Overall I find the movies a bit too "polished" though. I generally prefer my sci-fi/fantasy a Little more gritty and dark. I could definitely have done without the whole fashion show they had going in the Capital, which IMO is just a way of trying to get more teenage girls to see the movie (I haven´t read the books, but I assume it´s the same there). I find tricks like that a bit cheap, but then Again a grumpy 40 year old man probably isn´t the main target audience for the film series LOL

Finished the whole REC saga (I had only watched before the first two films). I recommend watching the 1st, 2nd and 4th films; they are worthwhile IMO. However, stay away from the 3rd one. It's absolutely awful LOL

I watched this one last year, and I have mixed feelings about it. It dragged on a bit too long IMO, and the Whole Space bending/time travel theme didn´t grap me much, but there are some pretty cool Space sequences and I love the scene with the gigantic tsunami.
