Everything I've heard by them sounded like Avante-Garde metal.

I ask that this thread stay open until I get an answer on my above question; for the time being I will tag all of them avant-garde metal, though.

The only Painkiller I own is their Collected Works, which compiles a fair amount of their discography.  Rate Your Music seems to tag much of it as avant garde metal either as a primary or secondary label. http://rateyourmusic.com/artist/painkiller

I also feel they belong here, and if I recall correctly they used to be here but got deleted for some reason relating to a mixup or something.

As I'm not intimately familiar with them, does anyone know which of their albums should be tagged metal and which tagged non-metal?

Moved to band suggestions section.  I certainly think some of their stuff could be classified as avant metal.

Wrong section, but they are on the list to be added.  I've just been busy for a while.

Painkiller for avant-garde. It has no guitars, but it sounds metal to me.
