Picked up the new Accept CD (The Rise Of Chaos) on my way home from work last night. Yay for indie record stores who put the new releases out a day early!
I haven't had time to listen to it all the way thru but I sampled the first few tracks and it sounds suitably bad-ass.

ebay buy:
I don't own many doom metal albums and it's a style I'd like to explore more. Managed to snag this one on auction for just £3.79 including the P&P.

My semi-weekly scrounge at Goodwill paid off nicely today:
Metallica - The $9.98 CD: Garage Days Re-Revisited This is actually the second copy of this disc I've found at this same Goodwill - I bought one there about a year ago. Even tho I already had one I couldn't leave this behind. The disc is more banged up than the one I have but the booklet/covers are in better shape Metallica - S&M (2CD) - no back tray art but for $1.99, I don't complain, I can always print a copy off of the Net :D Wolfmother - Joker & The Thief (5 track EP) Raw Power - Wop Hour 1984-1994 ("greatest hits" comp by an '80s hardcore band from Italy - sounds like early Suicidal Tendencies, if Mike Muir had a comical accent) aaaand yeah, not metal at all, but... Green Day - Kerplunk! (no booklet but again, I can always print a cover myself)

Re-ordered for the third time so hopefully third time lucky actually getting a copy. Fuck Amazon and their lies and fuck All Your Music and their non-delivery/unhelpful customer service.

Finally got one of my favorite death metal albums in my collection a few days ago:
And got these used yesterday: These guys aren't on here yet, but I'll have to add them once I decide what genre they would fit best in.

Those are the dates they gave me too...except the CD version wasn't even released until June 16th anywhere in the world. But it's been a week since then and they still show no sign of getting them in stock anytime soon. All Your Music has many copies in stock though: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kentucky-Panopticon-CD-New/382138378410?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

I think I'm going to re-order mine as well. Amazon keeps pushing back the date I'm supposed to receive it. When I ordered it they assured me that I'd have it by June 5th, only for that to be postponed on June 4th. Still don't have it. |
