Ive been a fan since "Seventh Son...was their new release (I was very young and my older brother was playing the album constantly), but Ive actually never seen them live. I hope the stars align the next time they visit Denmark.

Wow, I must confess I have a hard time seeing an album in the top 7 positions that wasn't released by 1988. Seriously.
Anyway, my list looks something like this: 1. Powerslave 2. Somewhere in Time 3. The Number of the Beast 4. Piece of Mind 5. Seventh Son 6. Iron Maiden 7. Killers --------------- The GREAT and NECESSARY. I find that there is no correct order for these masterpieces of heavy metal. Each order is correct. 8. Fear of the Dark (a 3 song album) 9. No Prayer for the Dying 10. Dance of Death 11. Brave New World 12. A Matter of Life and Death -------------------- Some great songs or some good songs. Don't listen to the album entirely, just some songs. 13. The Final Frontier 14. The X- Factor 15. Virtual XI ------------------- Seriously Maiden?

Well, let's see. I've reviewed and rated them all at some point, and looking at the ratings they all seem quite fair. But the order...
1. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son 2. Somewhere in Time 3. Brave New World 4. The Number of the Beast 5. Powerslave 6. Piece of Mind Here it gets more difficult... 7. A Matter of Life and Death 8. The Final Frontier 9. Iron Maiden 10. Dance of Death 11. The X Factor 12. Virtual XI 13. Fear of the Dark 14. Killers 15. No Prayer for the Dying I think they're all pretty good albums.

I'm not too familiar with any Maiden album after Brave New World (though I used to own Dance of Death), and don't know the Blaze albums either aside from the ones with videos. Keeping that in mind, here is my current ranking of Maiden with my favorite at the top.
1. Killers 2. Powerslave 3. Piece of Mind 4. The Number of the Beast 5. Iron Maiden 6. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son 7. Somewhere In Time 8. Fear Of The Dark 9. No Prayer For The Dying Not actually sure where I'd put Brave New World as I'm mainly familiar with the live versions from Rock In Rio.

This technically isn't an illegal download: Better be sure to listen in 720p!

^Many factors, guys. For many reasons, I never had access to that album particulary, and never wanted to download illegally. I will see if a friend could lend me a copy (even a digital copy...)

Why/how on Earth have you listened to enough Maiden to even form an opinion of them and not heard The Number of the Beast!? That is a contender for best ALBUM of all time in metal circles, much less Maiden circles.
Not judging, just mind = blown.
LISTEN TO IT ASAP. Not hearing it is akin to voluntarily not orgasming. Ever.

Whatever are you doing right now, stop immediately and listen to that album. Right now. You'll thank me later.

No, but the Dickinson era is better. Some songs of Blaze are great: Futureal, Man on the Edge, Virus, The Sign of The Cross, Clansman... My list: 1. Powerslave 2. Seventh Son of Seven Son 3. A Matter of Life and Death (my favorite album post-reunion!) 4. Somewhere in Time (this album gets better every time I listen!) 5. Piece of Mind 6. Brave New World 7. Iron Maiden 8. Dance of Death 9. Killers 10. Fear of The Dark 11. No Prayer for the Dying 12. Virtual XI Never listened to X-Factor ...And yes, I NEVER LISTENED TO NUMBER OF THE BEAST!
