20/250 - 8%
I'm not the biggest fan of power metal or progressive metal that is melodic and has clean vocals. My prog either has to be 70s classic era sounding or horribly brutal (I appreciate that might sound strange but sometimes the more melodic progressive metal bands sound a bit too "epic" for me if that makes sense. Kudos on the list though - I should probably give some of these albums the chance they deserve. |

27/250 11% Your choices are a lot more melodic and progressive than mine would be, but that's not a surprise. There were several there I was "Yes, know the artist. No, not heard that album".

I picked what I think is the best album from 250 artists I've listened to:
How many have you heard? Also comment and criticise my choices.

Something a little different, how many movies have you seen that have songs based on them on Star One's new album? Actually it's ten movies and one TV show.

^Go for it, I'd be interested to see your picks for the different years, especially what your favorite electronic albums are!
Yes, that's both Results May Vary and St. Anger in there. Despite the former's filler and the drums of the latter, there's songs I love on those.

What I love about the first two albums is the unique way the sound is all about the bass and drums, and the guitar is just there to fill in the gaps. Try to find the version of Expositionsprohylaxe with the bonus tracks - it has their old demos on it.
