Only the dead have seen the end of war. Without music, life would be a mistake.

It's hard to tell, really. They're clearly having fun with it, and it's just an EP, so it feels more like a fun side thing than anything serious.

The cover is pure genius though.

I'll listen to this in full tomorrow. Tried a couple of tracks earlier and had mixed feelings. The actual music seemed decent but as expected (or rather dreaded) it also sounded like this would have the same problem as the first Shakespeare album: excessive narration.

I'm on track 5 and I've only really noticed narration on one track so far. The first track still sounds absolutely dreadful to my ears, but so far the other four songs have all been great, so it still seems to mostly be another great Rebellion album. It might lean closer to heavy metal than their previous albums, though it's early to tell yet: Right now I've counted 2 full heavy metal songs, 2 full power metal songs, and one song that's mostly heavy metal with a bit of power metal near the end.

Ugh, I may have spoken too soon: Track 7 is otherwise an excellent song and should easily have been one of my two favorites so far, along with track 5, but these fucking voiceovers in the middle are absolutely pathetic and are totally ruining it. Ugh.......
Overall First Impressions: The actual music is about on par with their last two albums, outside of that opening track, but the voiceovers do bring it down a bit, so it ends up with a 3.75 instead of 4 stars on first listen, though it could grow on me. It definitely is a mix of heavy/power metal as always, and is about 50/50, imo.
